Minimum qualifications and skill set:

5+ years of veterinary technician experience
Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of North Carolina

Out of state license-holders who are eligible to transfer a license are also encouraged to apply
Prior leadership, supervisory, or mentorship experience in a veterinary setting strongly preferred
High-level clinical skillset required — this role demands both strong clinical skills and leadership capability
Proficiency in the following skills: Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery
Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography
Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement
Radiology positioning and safety protocols
Medication administration and accurate drug calculations
Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
Effective teamwork and professional communication skills
Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning
