LAYIQ - Payroll Coordinator at InfraServices, Blue Bell, PA

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
Education: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a four-year college or university; equivalent payroll experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Experience: Minimum of two years of multi-state payroll processing experience
Strong knowledge of payroll administration principles and practices
Experience with payroll tax compliance at the federal, state, and local levels
Proven experience processing California payroll and knowledge of state regulations (preferred)
Notary public certification, or willingness to obtain certification within first six (6) months of employment (preferred)
Technical
Skills: Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency
Proficiency with and/or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and payroll systems
Ability to responsibly use AI-enabled tools to support efficiency, research, and problem-solving while protecting confidential information and reviewing outputs for accuracy
Soft Skills: Highly organized and detail orientated
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Solid judgement and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with all levels of management and staff
Physical Requirements: Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
Sitting at a desk for 6-8 hours a day
Working on a computer for 6-8 hours a day
May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
