As we continue to scale our global platform, the Quality Control Auditor will play a critical role in ensuring licensed garments meet Fanatics Commerce product and Tech Pack standards.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Quality Control Auditor performs inbound audits to verify that garments conform to established quality standards as defined by Tech Packs, conducting physical inspections and maintaining accurate, legible records of findings. This role upholds objectivity and integrity throughout the audit process, communicates nonconformance clearly to teammates and management, and contributes to a culture of quality and accountability on the warehouse floor.

The Quality Control Auditor delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)

Ensure that every garment reaching the fan meets the quality and accuracy standards set by Fanatics Commerce Tech Packs, protecting the integrity of officially licensed merchandise.

Physically inspect inbound product to verify construction, color accuracy, and conformance, reducing the risk of defective product reaching fans.

Communicate quality rules and guidelines clearly — especially in cases of nonconformance — so that corrective action is taken swiftly and fan-facing product quality is maintained.

Support production throughput targets so that fans receive their orders accurately and on time.

Innovation & Problem Solving (Limitless Entrepreneurial Spirit)

Apply basic garment construction and sewing knowledge to identify and articulate defect root causes, contributing to continuous quality improvement.

Leverage Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel) to maintain accurate audit records and support data-driven quality reporting.

Identify patterns in nonconforming product and surface findings to management to help drive process improvements across inbound operations.

Adapt quickly to evolving audit procedures, new product lines, and peak-season demands, approaching challenges with a problem-solving mindset.

Execute audit processes and procedures with precision, maintaining accurate and legible written reports for every inspection.

Demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability, including availability for overtime and Saturdays during peak periods.

Manage physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting boxes up to 40 lbs., with sustained focus and productivity.

Meet and maintain production standards consistently, ensuring audit throughput aligns with warehouse operational targets.

Required Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to perform physical product inspections with attention to detail, including color distinction and dimensional accuracy using basic math (addition, subtraction, fractions, ruler measurement).

Basic knowledge of sewing and garment construction sufficient to identify defects and nonconforming product against Tech Pack specifications.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office — Outlook, Word, and Excel — with accuracy and reliability in data entry and record keeping.

Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain quality rules and nonconformance findings verbally and in writing.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment, standing for extended periods and lifting boxes up to 40 lbs.

Proven adaptability to changing priorities, with a track record of maintaining excellent attendance and meeting production standards.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Education:

Minimum High School Diploma required.
