About The Opportunity

Under the direction of the Production/Shipping/Scheduling, the Inventory Controller/Cycle Counter will maintain an accurate inventory of materials in the facility by working directly with Receiving/Shipping and Purchasing, verifying sufficient inventory for production using the inventory system, reconciling, and reporting to management. Shift: 1st Shift, Full Time

Job Mode: Onsite

Pay: $23.18

Execute material verification Based upon information provided by the Plant Scheduler and Production Supervision.

• Validating material movement transactions
• Maintain continuous and accurate cycle counting of the facility
• Coordinate cycle counting with forklift drivers on shift

Prepare and participate in weekly physical inventory.

• Direct monthly product inventory, perform verifications, and keep spreadsheets up to date
• Understand and utilize the FIFO methodology
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
• Take apart job jackets after completion
• Back up administrative assistant
