Convenient Care provides accessible, same-day care for patients with a variety of healthcare needs. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting providers, coordinating patient care, and ensuring efficient clinic operations.

💻 What You'll Do

Medical Assistants at Convenient Care Troost are responsible for:

• ✅ Scheduling patient appointments
• ✅ Verifying insurance information
• ✅ Screening walk-in patients
• ✅ Performing telephone triage and screening using established protocols
• ✅ Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs
• ✅ Documenting patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• ✅ Providing medication and injection education
• ✅ Assisting providers with clinical procedures
• ✅ Cleaning wounds and performing dressing changes
• ✅ Delivering exceptional customer service during every patient interaction
• ✅ Covering front desk responsibilities, including patient registration and check-in ✅ Supporting clinic operations and patient flow throughout the day
• ✅ Performing other duties as assigned to support clinic needs

Convenient Care is a fast-paced outpatient setting where Medical Assistants have the opportunity to support patients through every step of their visit.

Medical Assistants can expect to:
