Social Worker - Children's Services

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s

Social Worker to join its client’s Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team, based in Salford.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced frontline service where you will work alongside partner agencies to ensure timely and effective safeguarding decisions for children and families.

What will your responsibilities be?

Screen and assess incoming referrals relating to children and families.

Gather and analyse information from partner agencies to inform decision-making.

Identify levels of risk and need, ensuring appropriate safeguarding responses.

Undertake threshold decisions and make recommendations for statutory intervention where required.

Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve positive outcomes for children.

Maintain accurate and timely case recordings in line with service requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• To be successful in this role you must have; Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Experience working within a MASH, Assessment, Duty & Assessment, or Safeguarding Team.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance.
• Excellent assessment, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-agency environment.
