About the Role
This is a founding Account Executive position at a seed-stage AI communications startup, where you will own the US go-to-market effort from the ground up. Working directly alongside the founding team, you will build early demand, close the first US customers, and establish a repeatable sales motion that proves product-market fit in the American market.
What You'll Do
- Drive the initial US launch by building localized landing pages, messaging, and basic tracking with marketing support.
- Run discovery calls, demos, and close early deals to win the first US customers.
- Turn early learnings into a documented, repeatable sales motion and playbook for the US market.
- Identify partner channels, pitch them, and enable co-selling programs.
- Own customer success for initial accounts: onboard, support, and capture feedback to improve product and positioning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and engineering to launch and iterate quickly.
- Scale the role over 6 to 12 months to become the primary US owner, with potential to hire and lead a local team.
What We're Looking For
- Native English speaker with demonstrated commercial experience in the US market.
- Ex-founder, operator, or someone with strong experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or growth at a high-growth SaaS startup.
- Hands-on Account Executive experience with a startup sales motion, not exclusively an enterprise background.
- Proven ability to build and execute early-stage GTM, including discovery, demos, and closing deals.
- Experience creating localized messaging, landing pages, and basic demand-generation tracking.
- Experience building and activating partner channels and co-selling programs.
- Comfortable with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot and sales funnel analytics.
- Background selling AI or SaaS solutions to SMBs is a strong plus, particularly in AI-powered communications.
- Ownership mentality, self-starter mindset, and a clear, direct communication style.
- Willingness to be based in Vienna, Austria for 3 to 6 months for onboarding and team kickoff
