LAYIQ - Human Resources Generalist at Magna

Diploma/Certification in Human Resources
SPHR or PHR certification preferred
Three (3) years Human Resources experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Knowledge of Human Resources practices and principles, and familiar with relevant employment legislation
Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Applicant tracking software, HRIS Software (i.e., PeopleSoft, Workday)
Knowledge of lifecycle recruiting
Sense of urgency and customer service oriented
Comfortable with analyzing data and identifying trends
Excellent communication/presentation skills
Demonstrated attention to detail
Able to work in a team or independently
Experience in tec start up, manufacturing & Engineering industry
Skills and Competencies: Results-oriented and strong work ethic
Excellent written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal communication skills
Must be self-starter with superior accuracy and the ability to maintain confidential information, records and/or files
Ability to operate office equipment as required by job function
Work Environment: Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Ability to travel required. .
