Employer job description
From Nexstar's posting. “We” and “our” refer to the employer.
Excited to grow your career?
We value our talented employees, and whenever possible strive to help one of our associates grow professionally before recruiting new talent to our open positions. If you think the open position you see is right for you, we want you to apply!
The Weekend Digital Producer position leads the transition from broadcast focused newsrooms to multi-platform newsrooms through active daily example; providing training in methods, processes and tactics; as well as in creating/editing original content beyond that which is produced for on-air.
This person would also be responsible for managing our assignment desk during regular weekend shifts, providing the fuel to make our weekend news coverage stand out.
