Position Summary...
In this role, you will work with a dynamic team of tax professionals to ensure that Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, accurately applies transaction taxes and regulatory fees to customers and members shopping online and at our over 5,000 brick-and-mortar Walmart and Sam’s Club locations in the United States and Puerto Rico. The transaction scale and scope of complexity of taxation at Walmart will attract individuals who are excited to navigate novel challenges and engaged by intellectually stimulating work.
About the team:
The Sales Tax Operations (STO) team at Walmart is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of transaction taxes and regulatory fees charged to customers and members shopping online and at our brick-and-mortar locations. The STO team performs research and assessments of transactional tax law changes and implements any necessary configuration changes of indirect taxes to thousands of jurisdictions each year.
