Job listings change quickly. A role can close, move, be reposted, or change details after it appears in a search system. Layiq should treat freshness and source consistency as part of job quality, but stale listings can still appear.

• If the employer page says the job is closed, treat the listing as expired.
• If an aggregator shows different details than the employer page, use the employer page as the stronger source when available.
• If the same role appears multiple times, prefer the clearest and most current source.
• If a listing has changed substantially, report the mismatch so the result can be corrected or de-prioritized.

Expired listings are frustrating because they waste time. Reporting them helps tune freshness checks and reduce repeats.
